Report A Violation
If you find anything on Digest — a post, a user’s bio, a reply, etc. — that violates our Community Guidelines, we want to know about it. You can:
- Report it to Customer Service within the Digest app, or
- Send us an email to [email protected]
Please include as much information as you can about the violation so that we can find it and deal with it appropriately.
Per our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to remove any content or user from Digest, at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
If a violation is obvious we can make our decision about what to do quickly.
However, more often than we’d all like, there will be times where a user’s content or behavior falls into a grey area. What is or isn’t considered decent, civil, or violent is subjective, and it follows that several of our community guidelines are as well. We will use our discretion to learn and act to improve the health of our community.
Consequences for violations include:
- An email requesting an explanation for a user’s content or behavior
- Advanced warning of content removal or account suspension that gives a user the opportunity to fix their content or behavior
- Removal of content without notice
- Temporary user account suspension
- Permanent user account suspension
If You Were Reported
We understand that context is important, and we do not want the Digest community to lose out on valuable ideas and perspectives. If we send you a request for an explanation about your content or behavior, or ask you to make changes to either, please reply and comply by the stated deadline. Failure to do so may have consequences that affect your content or account.
We want to be fair and give you an opportunity to appeal decisions that we may have gotten wrong. If we misunderstood your intent, or you feel like your content was removed or your account suspended in error, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Customer Service within the Digest app or by emailing us at [email protected].
